Yes. The ability to sail upwind depends on the type of paddleboard, wind speed and direction, and fin setup. Using a center fin can significantly improve upwind performance.

What is the difference between WINDpaddling and windsurfing?

Unlike traditional windsurfing, where the mast is fixed to the board, WINDpaddling uses a different system in which neither the paddle nor the sail is permanently attached to the paddleboard.
